WELCOME TO~~~SHOW US YOUR ROOSTERS PARTY

Hosted today Friday, August 28th, by Barb from Bella Vista Be sure to visit over at Barb's for many more participants showing their roosters today. It should be so much fun to see all the special collections and displays.

So to share my collection, come on in, I'll open the door and hold it wide open with my rooster door stop for all to visit. I hope you can stay for awhile.

I have loved and collected unique roosters over the years and displayed them in different ways. Long after the country style look left my home, my roosters have taken their place among my Tuscan Style decor and French Country flair and even Shabby Rose. I have also painted many through the years and created mixed media designs. My latest creation was inspired from a beautiful set of prints that my dear friend Stephanie from Angelic Accents gifted to me. These prints have bible verses on each and have taken a prominate spot in my kitchen. Starting with copies of the originals she sent, I hand painted a faux finish on canvas, centered the prints, added side trims and hung with a set of iron keys.

Thank you Steph, I love them!
This Rooster stands proudly along side a tray I purchased from my sweet friend Lorena of Rose Chic Friends a few years ago. This display sits on a serving hutch in my kitchen. Thank you Lorena, I love this tray and my rooster's colors are perfect with it.

The next few roosters range from note cards, canisters, shelf sitters and an island display.

In my dining room, I have a wall shelf that diplays my hand painted tuscan neighbor tray along side a standing rooster.

Then there are a few figurines above the stove. Standing ceramic rooster and one that holds treasures.

Oh and lets include tea bag holders, Fritz and Floyd collectibles, paper towel toppers, dishes, lamps, towels and candleholders.

More roosters make their home on my kitchen chandelier, pot rack, Fritz and Floyd Plates, shelf roosters, napkins, old wall paper, a family on high, magnets and iron paper weight.

Outside I have a couple roosters that want to say hello too. Rooster among the roses, roosters on placemats and my patio guard rooster.

And lastly I will share a rooster that I painted on a wood plaque many years ago. This party has inspired me to bring him back and out of the archives, along with the sweetest of all, my newest shabby rose rooster hand painted in pastels and lives in my shabby rose guest room.

Thank you for stopping by my rooster party. It has been so nice to have you visit. Please take a moment to visit Bella Vista for more wondeful blog friends participating in the party today. Have Fun and till next time, remember, "While the Rooster crows, the Hen delivers the Goods"~~~~
Blessings Always, Celestina Marie
