Falling into Autumn Pillows

Hi Friends

Hope you had a nice weekend and ready for this new week.
We here in the Lone Star State are thrilled to have cooler temps
over the weekend and more of the same on the way.
The perfect inspiration for falling into Autumn!

Today I thought I'd share a few fall style accent pillows
hand created using Dollar Store kitchen towels, felt, buttons and fringe.

To begin the larger pillow was a felt piece I found several years ago.

I added the vintage buttons trailing along the leaves,

and the crocheted lace edging to each side in the color blocks.

Quick easy and a great little accent pillow for the season.

The smaller pillow below is one kitchen towel,
folded over with the right side together, stitched and then turned
right sides out adding the bottom fringe at the leaves.
To the top I folder over front and back  a vintage doily
from my grandmother with an added button.
Cute fall accent.

This pillow below is done the same way
but I sewed the crocheted piece in the seam
and folder over to one side.
Added vintage buttons and complete.

Lastly I found a sweet small pillow in felt
a few years ago.
To this I simply jazzed it up by adding
on each side, crocheted trim, stitched on the leaves
and added the vintage buttons.
Popped in a basket and it's a sweet fall decoration.

I do love a GOOD FALL!!
don't you?

Lastly, this sweet little hanging welcome pillow got a button accent and glitter leaves to complete.

See you next time with some candle trim creations.

Have a great week.
