THE FACES OF SANTA!

Seven years ago I started to collect and paint Santa's. I do not have a real large collection, but enough to be called one anyway. Some I have painted and others were gifts over the years. I have them displayed throughout our cottage home in a variety of places. Each holds a special place in my decor and so enjoyed once a year when they come out of sleeping to bring in Christmas and the New Year!

These Santa's above were so fun to paint and study from a couple of my favorite designs in the Decorative Artist. I love the details in the faces and the goodie bag that santa carries!

What a magnificent collection of Santas! I love the one holding the bird. You have such a wonderful eye for color and shading. I've always been impressed with that in your work. Thanks so much for sharing!

Oh your Santas are lovely, especially the ones that you painted. I too love Santas and have a growing collection. This year I painted chalkware Santas for gifts...I loved the process. I have the same one holding the gingerbread house. We must be kindred spirits. Your talent for painting is incredible. Karen
