MAILBOX TREASURES!

My mail carrier brings the best treasures and today was one of those special days when something pretty arrived from Connie of Rose Porch Designs and blog~Living Beautifully. Recently she has been designing gorgeous aprons and she had one I could not live without. It was a shabby rose with black check accents and beautiful details. Wow, does Connie ever make the prettiest aprons. I tell you, her workmanship is awesome. So today it arrived and I was more then delighted to add this gorgeous creation to my cottage.

I also recently entered her give away on her blog for a pretty hanging tea cup that she created. I never win anything, but, to my surprise I won and that was also in the box. Talk about another beautiful piece. It is just darling with a pretty rose pattern and filled with moss, dark pink rose and leaves all tied with a sheer white ribbon for hanging. I can't wait to put this pretty in a place of honor too.

And lastly, she sent me a pretty french inspired soft burgundy box with bees scattered all around, just because she thought I would enjoy it. And, truly I do. I love boxes and I have already placed this one on the tub ledge filled with a few goodies for a luxury bath. That may not happen, but it sure looks good. LOL!

Thank you for letting me share my mailbox treasures. Take a moment and visit Rose Porch Designs from my list of favorite blogs below to the right, and then link to her ebay store to view more goodies made by Connie. Connie is also the group leader to Pretty Romantic Homes on ebay. This week she is featuring a series about Cottages, indoors and out, on her blog. She has some beautful inspiring pictures to share. Don't miss this special series!
Thank you my friend!

The above picture is our master bathroom tub area. The walls are soft light yellow with dark pink, soft pinks, red and sage accents. The combination is soft and pretty and follows into the bedroom attached. I will show more pictures of that at another time.

Hi This is my first visit to your blog. Seeing the Decorative Painter's logo on the sidebar brought back so many memories so I just had to comment. Back in the 1960's or whenever it was that the society started my mother took a decorative painting course by correspondence which began a long career as a dec art teacher. My sister and I both painted and eventually taught classes also. We took lessons from some of the original great painters who began the society: Mary Jo Leisure Peggie Hobbs and Doxie Keller are the only 2 names I remember at the moment. Thanks for the memories!
