Evening Picnic at the Lake!

Thank you for the kind comments on our anniversary day. Each and everyone is very special. I thought I would share a few pictures from our anniversary as we enjoyed an "Evening Picnic on the Lake" The breeze was so welcomed, as our temps this summer have been in the 100's and it was much cooler on the water. The sights and sounds of the area and surroundings were so relaxing. The perfect way to reflect on our years together.
Beautiful drive to the lake!

Searching for just the right spot! Past the Marina and boat docks.

Getting Closer!

Ah, here is the perfect little setting for a picnic.

The view over the water is so calm and relaxing.

The perfect way to spend an anniversary evening for us.
I also want to share the finished framing of my watercolor win from Karen of A Sketchbook of Inspirations. If you did not know from a past post. I won a giveaway from Karen several weeks ago and she was to paint something special for whoever the winner was. She created for me this vignette of a room I designed in my home called the Pink Shabby Rose Room. It is gorgeous and I love how it turned out with the chunky white carved frame. It looks so pretty in the room. Thank you so very much Karen. I will treasure this piece always. If you have not visited Karen, please take the time to stop by her lovely blog and visit her etsy boutique or lollishops. You will be inspired and blessed.

The watercolors new home. Love it!!

Thank you for your visit today. I will see you again soon. Blessings be yours. Celestina Marie

What a beautiful way to spend your anniversary! I love to do things like that, so personal and romantic. I'm so glad you had a nice evening.

I talked to Marie and she likes her one new Dr. Has she emailed you? I think she's finally going to get the help she needs. I'm so thankful to God for answering our prayers. But of course we need to keep praying for her.

The painting you won is fabulous! It's such a perfect reflection of your room!! How clever is that? And that room is soooo beautiful Celeste, as they ALL are!

Big hugs, sherry

Oh, no! Now that you've put that picture in that spot Karen is going to have to paint a new one that includes the picture...LOL! Ha ha! Just kidding. It looks fabulous there. She is such a talented artist. I love her work and her blog. Same with your blog and work! :)

I agree! Ok, I've never really had a picnic by the lake but the thought of it is just beautiful Celeste. And to spend it with the one you love dear is perfection, I think :-)

The painting looks right at home in that wall. It's like the spot was really reserved for it :-)
