Sharing Collectible Santas!

Hi Friends, Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now, with the start of the Christmas season, there is decorating to do and Christmas Day to prepare for. I was able to get our decorating complete before Thanksgiving and start right back to work after a few much needed days off. I have lots to share with you this holiday from around our cottage, and today, I'll share a few collectibles from my Santa collection. Little reading, with lots of pics.
Welcome to our snow covered cottage. Come in to a warm fireplace with glowing candles and the 7 foot Christmas tree graced with 48 Thomas Kinkade cottages, fluffy red cabbage roses, crocheted snowflakes with copper, sage and Tuscan blue ornaments.

Above the fireplace is my newest painting from Kirklands just for the holidays. Click to enlarge and see the pics bigger.

My newest Santa, is a lamp. Later I will embellish the shade with trims.

Meet my tall hand painted wood Santa's, Buddie and Beau.

I'll be back again soon to share lots more Christmas decor including my cherished manger, hand painted by my mom, shabby pink rose room retreat and new treasures coming to my shoppe.
Till then, enjoy the Christmas season and blessings always.
Celestina Marie

Celeste...Everything looks simply beautiful!! And...after looking at this post, I toured your Christmas House 2007!! Gorgeous!!

I haven't even begun to decorate yet. My wrist and hand is getting better ~ hopefully, I'll be able to start this weekend. And since we didn't decorate for Thanksgiving, nor have the pizza, as customary for decorating day...we'll have it then!!

~Blessings,
Jan

Hi. Your Christmas tree is beautiful. Is it real or artificial? I always hesitate in this time of the year whether to have artificial or real tree. If you have the real one too soon you have to take care about it in order to keep it fresh but it has much better atmosphere. On the other hand, if you have artificial tree you don't need to take care about it and it's possible to use it year by year. That's why I'm thinking about buying artificial one. Btw amazing collection of Santas.

Good luck,
Elli

I am in love.... with santa with the plaid coat. He is a keeper for sure. We have still not done our tree but the hubs assures me on Saturday when he is partially off. I'm looking forward to it. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you and yours. Hugs. Tammy

Celeste, the Christmas Spirit is certainly evident at your house already! We're getting our tree out this weekend. I've been so busy working that it leaves little time for personal pursuits. We did escape on Tues. to do some shopping. Luckily, this year our list is small! I'm still debating about baking! The waistline defers!
;-) They don't make low-cal flour, do they? ;-)

Hi Celestina,
Your Santa collection is wonderful! I love collecting them, too.
I love your new picture. I thought about buying it myself.
We decided on the larger figurines for above our entertainment center instead and we just got another manger scene for an easel so we didn't get the picture.
You'll have to pop over and see the one on the easel. I posted it yesterday.
I was so far behind with all my company and trip to FL to see my mom, that two months flew by so quickly.
Just got home a few days ago and got the decorations up. Hubby said it was like a 72 hr. marathon. lol
Well, it's done now so we can take a breather.
Merry Christmas friend!!
