~~Waking to Winter White~~

The beauty of white falling snow this morning was a gorgeous sight. With temps hanging near freezing and predicted to fall, the scene from any window is so pretty.

Even Miss Beazy was intrigued, as she has never really seen much snow in her 5 years of life! Yes, we don't receive the white stuff very often, so basically our area shuts down. Schools closed, work delayed and traffic moving at a snails pace. I must admit, I love it. The calm cozy secure feeling of being indoors, putting up a yummy pot of soup and settling in the studio to paint away is my idea of perfect. Looking up from my paint table, looking out the window, is an inspiring sight. It won't be here long, gone like it came, so why not enjoy it till the next cold blast delivers the pretty white snowflakes again in the future. So I captured a few pics to share with you today. I know that many parts of our country are buried in snow and this is nothing in comparison. So we share a bit with those that are really struggling with deep snow, power outages and freezing temps. We pray all our safe and warm.

The bathroom remodel continues and a lot being accomplished, but today things will be on hold due to the weather and not being able to cut tile outdoors. I will have more pics to share the progress of this redesign next week. The steps so far are below in past posts. Till then, have a great snow day or sunny day, wherever you are.
Blessings, Celestina Marie

Isn't the world beautiful when covered with a blanket of snow, honey? All pristine white and clean. I love it...IF I don't have to drive in it. ;-)

What a winter wonderland! I can't wait to see what you do with your bathroom. I took the ugly wallpaper down in mine when we moved here and the plain white walls were so much better that I have never gone back to paint! lol It's starting to move up on the priority list though! ♥

Hi Celeste... Miss Beazy looks so cute looking out at the snow! Does she like to play in it? My sheltie used to love to roll in it and make "snow~dog angels" as we called them... your photos are so pretty... we were supposed to have sun and 40+ degrees today, well, it is a blizzard and freezing here too! You are right, a good day to stay warm inside, with some homemade soup...and some crocheting I am working on... love to you... xoxo Julie Marie

I love your winter scenes. The pictures that I have seen of the snow would make wonderful picture puzzles. It is a favorite time even thought I get tire of it. I just don't like the ice and I won't drive if I can keep from it when we get it. Will look forward to the bathroom pictures later. Take care and stay warm

She does look so cute looking out the window at the snow. I haven't shown my sweet Rosie what snow is yet. It started here last night and is still coming down. I think I will walk her outside now and take a few pictures.

Your bathroom is going to be beautiful. I know you are probably anxious to get it finished. Can't wait to see it!

Lee Laurie

G'eve, Celeste ~ Miss Beazy would be having a BLAST out here with all our snow, Celeste.

It is always nice for areas that are not known for having snow to receive a tad now & then.

Happy Valentine's
Have a loving holiday ~

Hi Sweet Friend!! Happy Valentines Day!! I hope you and Larry had the best day ever!!!! I cant wait to get my gorgeous bunny :):) I know she will be perfect as everything you do is!! So much went on here last week, lol! My sister in law ended up in the hospital with preterm labor, luckily they got it stopped and she is home. That happened to me with Ashton and Colton so I know how scary it is. Hopefully things can get better now!!
Love you sweetie pie!
