A Walk in the Garden

Happy Summer blog friends.

Today begins a new season and the longest sunshine day this year. I always like to walk the garden and visit my flowers as I water and relax viewing the pretty blooms.

Although our springtime did not end on a happy note, we are doing much better now, but of course, still miss our sweet Miss Beazy Lee. With the new season I look forward to better days ahead and back to my routine even though I feel it has taken me some time.

I am back in the studio and beginning to create again and find my joy doing what I was meant to do.

All the emails are answered now and my thanks for all the prayers sent my way. I think I even sent a few thank you emails twice. LOL I wanted to make sure all were thanked and I may have sent some of you two emails. I promise I have not lost my mind yet!! LOL

Flowers around the pool in my container garden are doing pretty well, but we have not hit those triple digits yet, however, they say it's on the way this weekend.

This will mean water, water, water to keep the flowers with us.

Rosemary and the Potato Vine growing nicely. I love walking by the Rosemary and the beautiful scent it gives.

We have even been enjoying yummy tomatoes from our one little vine this year along with 4 green pepper plants that are really doing well, much to our surprise.

Miss B's pink roses.

Ivy and roses do well in this spot and seem to take the heat with a few annuals mixed in.

For this first day of summer, I picked a pretty bouquet of roses, daisies and cone flowers.

In this pretty glass pitcher vase, they bring a sweet touch indoors.

Thank you for taking a walk in the garden with me today celebrating the new season and new beginnings. I will be back soon to share what I have been creating, my new studio and lots more.

Hugs and Blessings always,
Celestina Marie

Celeste,
Glad to see you back on blogging and that your heart is healing. I know it is full of memories.
What a beautiful yard. Summer is making a grand entrance today by setting a heat record. We don't want it to come in too fast, it is just the beginning and we have the whole summer to go. As a new blogger I will be anxious to see your new craft shop. Have a great weekend. hugs

Thankyou, I really enjoyed the walk around your garden. Your longest day, and our shortest here in Australia. Boohoo, that means summer is coming back..oh no, I do detest the heat.

Dearest Celestina Marie,

Lovely walk in the garden, however late for me... we went to Atlanta today. Shopping at Costco, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods and home again for the two and a half hour drive.
So glad that you're writing again and are slowly digesting this tragedy. It will never be the same but life goes on, and that is a daily reality for lots of people. Stop and smell the roses is a good thing to do now. You got a lovely place with so many details. Love the painted pail in the photo with the Rosemary.
Lots of love to you girl,
Mariette

Love the new look to your Studio, so white and bright, also the rose background on the blog.

Do hope as the days pass, better times will be ahead. Look forward to seeing what beautiful treasures you are creating.

I enjoyed my walk with you today Celeste. Rosemary always reminds me of my Grandpa and there is nothing better than tomatoes fresh from the garden to make my very favourite pasta sauce.

Sending lots of hugs and wishes for a good year ahead,

Miss C.... I never thought to do roses in a pot. Does this help keep down the ground bugs? I'm happy to see your ready to move forward at least in any direction. I'm certain Ms.B would want it that way. One day may your big heart be open to another. Hugs and love. T

I am so very sorry to hear about Miss Beazy, Celestina. I can genuinely say that I totally understand. We still miss our golden girl, Honey, even after two years of saying goodbye. But she lives on in our hearts, as I know Miss B. will forever live in yours. She will also live on through this page and all the warmth she brings to it. You have inspired me to actually make our golden girl a part of my page too, and I will. I had her on my previous blog and have not done so here yet, but I will.

Thinking of you in my prayers, love. May God's love and peace wrap around you like a warm blanket.
Much love,
Marcia

Thank you for stopping by, my dear. Thank you for your kind words about the upcoming get-together, and I did not expect you to participate at this time. I just visited when I saw you on Jan's prayer list. Your entire blog is a bright Light, so you are already a participant regardless of posting or not.
Hugs,
Marcia

Hi sweet friend!
So glad to read you are doing better. We lost our Chloe last week to kidney disease...it was the hardest 3 weeks to see my precious companion leave us this way. We left the next day to visit my fam in Seattle, a much needed vacation and diversion. I sooo need to get back to creating, but am struggling. I know in time it will return.

You have a beautiful backyard. What a lovely space to be in the cool of your HOT summer evenings. We have had 90+ here in michigan..i think we are in for a hot summer this year...i so love my patio/deck area in the evenings.

Be blessed my sweet friend!

I am busy with my French designs and pink roses. Its fun and lets me be creative. I am not painting the dogs much anymore. I think I found my niche.

What a gorgeous setting around your pool, Celeste. Wish I were there to sit & chat with you in this beautiful setting. Good to see you out & about ... Miss B's roses are fabulous. We are sweltering in the 3-dgit high humidity weather already, very early here.

Dying to see your new creations. You must come by & enjoy our friends visit ... what a gem.

I loved seeing your garden, Celestina, and your pool is gorgeous. Oh how I miss my pool. We had a pool in our old house, and when we moved, I never realized how much I would miss it. That's what happens when you downsize after the kids are grown and raised. I'm so glad you're feeling better. It's going to take time to get things back to normal again after the loss of your beloved dog. Just know that your bloggy friends are here to brighten your day. Oh, your new blog look is very lovely. Have a nice weekend, Celestina.
