Treasured Keepsakes

As Christmas approaches quickly, I enjoy reflecting on the special little treasures displayed throughout my home. Keepsakes created and given to me from special friends.
Snowflakes crocheted with loving care. I remember the day I received these treasures.
Beautiful crocheted church complete with the steeple, doors and Christmas trees.
  Carved Deer, standing near~
New found snowy cottage, had a green roof and now graces snow! I found this lone cottage at TarJay. It was calling to me for a redesign of snow and glitter. A keepsake to moi.
Wishing you a nest of blessings~
Angels to watch over you~
Snowy scenes to bring you cozy days.
Wishing you  a Very Merry Christmas.

I'll be back with more of my home tour in the days ahead.

Enjoy Special Christmas Days,

Celestina Marie

Good Morning Celeste!

Such lovely treasures! It's so fun pulling everything out of their boxes and creating a wonderland of sorts with them. Things that you've had for years and years, new things finding a place to dazzle the beholder. Old memories and new ones. I love blending them together just as you do.

Some of my projects are finally winding down, a couple will have to be New Years gifts but things are falling into place for next week. My Mom used to say "Christmas will come whether you're ready or not!" But somehow she always was prepared.

I'm so blessed to have you as a friend. Thank you Celeste!

Christmas love & blessings,
Sherry

Oh- How I love those snowflakes. My mother made several of those years ago. I have never seen a church made from crochet though. What a treasure. My mom also did a lot of tatting and I remember some tatted snowflakes. I sure wish I had them now. Everything is just beautiful...from the snowflakes to the deer to the wreath- Lovely! xo Diana
