It's a Valentine Party

Guess What?
It's
PARTY TIME
and there's
NO WAY
you'll want to miss
GOOD TIMES
over at my sweet friend Laurie's blog,
Bargain Decorating with Laurie
and her annual Valentine Par-tay
It will be so
GOOD 4 YOU!!
*************
Before we travel over to Laurie's,
I'm so glad you stopped here
for some tea and treats.

I have a dessert table
set for you.
No worries, these goodies are calorie free.

Celebrate the miracles of everyday!
French sugared treats~

Conversation Hearts

Sweet mini cakes I created just for you~

Help yourself to tarts
or brownies topped with whipped cream
and a cherry on top~

Come join me at the table,
there's cupcakes~~~
 Our centerpiece
is a double heart vase I created and
filled with pink roses and glittered bead hearts.

The candles are faux  lights from IKEA
and stand in a pair of vintage candle sticks from Ireland.
The hanging beads are attached to the candle drip saucers.
Take your place and help yourself to a cupcake
served on a vintage frosted pink dessert dish.

Can I pour you a cup of tea?
The cups are very old
and I hand painted saucers to go with them.
I have added pink glass water goblets
for lemon water.
One of my favorite tea pots
with a little bird on the top
sits on a pretty rose plate.

I love this vintage sugar and creamy with hand painted flowers.

More vintage graces our table in the lace napkins
held by the sweet ceramic LOVE birds.
If we ring this bell,
a Violinist will play beautiful music for us while we visit~

and Dream~

Being with Good Friends is a blessing.

Paper Hearts, a gift~

Thank you for stopping by!

It's been so great to have you join the party.
Remember to visit
you might even meet a
FRIEND 4 EVER
Because
YOU ROCK!
Have a great week

Hugs,
Celestina Marie

But I'll have to add some petit fours to my plate since their calorie free! I'm having an incredibly good time at the Valentine Party and thank you kindly for your invitation!!

What a delightful post! I loved everything and I must look for those candles at Ikea! I love candles and candlelight and have found some in our local country store, but are very primitive looking. These would look good in pretty candlesticks. Love all the soft colors, also, and the goodies you presented! LOVE LOVE!

Your table setting is just gorgeous, Celestina! I am in love with your beautiful vintage sugar bowl and creamer. And the rose plate that you painted is gorgeous, too! Those sweet treats look oh so pretty, and calorie free makes them even better:) So many things here that I love, the paper heart, Irish candle holders, lace, and pretty pink goblets. You have outdone yourself yet again!

Celestina,
I saw your party going on, and had to come over and visit. These desserts look amazing. Chocolate brownies are my favorite, so may I have one of those? The vase of pink roses and glitter hearts is so pretty. I love the white tea pot with the bird, and the rose plate is gorgeous. I think my favorite is the Violinist, he's adorable.

I am off to check out your friend's blog. Thank you for sharing your party pictures today.

Have a nice weekend.

Love,
~Sheri

Oh Celestina, what a beautiful post! And it is so kind of you to publicize my party in such a fun way. I've had several linkups tell me they came over from your blog. Thank you so much. You're the best! All of your romantic, hand-painted pieces are perfect for Valentine's Day. Did you paint that beautiful piece with the silhouette? I'm in love with that. And that painted saucer took my breath. Thank you so much for linking, advertising, and being a great friend. Hugs, laurie

Hi there! This is my first visit to your blog, and I'm visiting via Laurie's party. It has been a couple of years since I linked up to the party, and I'm glad to be here to find new creative minds at work!

I can see why that teapot is your favorite. It is so creamy and pretty with such a sweet design. I like teapots, but I tend to lean toward those that are scarcely embellished like this one. Beautiful!

My buddy from Infuse With Liz and I have been on the hunt for some realistic-looking faux tapers. I found some at Pier 1 this past Christmas, but they still don't have quite the look we're going for. These have a much more realistic look to them! IKEA, huh? We have one being built here in the Kansas City area that is to open in the Fall. These will be on my "Gotta Find" list. The bobeches atop the candlestick are really pretty, too! It lends to the realistic look of the candles in that the eye perceives that wax might actually drip!

Very pretty post! Happy Valentine's Week to you and your family!
