Waiting for Spring

At this point, I think we are all ready for
springtime and fresh new flowers
We have warmed up nicely and even enjoyed a day reaching 82 degrees.
My rose garden is still a ways from sharing pretty blooms
but I know they are coming soon.
In the meantime,
I have brought a little spring inside
while we wait.
*********
It is better to be patient then
powerful; it is better to have self-control
then to conquer a city.
Proverbs 16:32

Roses, although silk, are a hope for spring.

There is beauty in the color pink.

We can make our plans, but the Lord
determines our steps.
Proverbs 16:9

There is a time for everything,
a season for every activity
under heaven.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
Ecclesiastes 3:1,4

Teach us to make the most of our time,
so that we may grow in wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

Home is where the heart dwells
and makes a nest for comfort.

The birds in my yard are beginning to sing
the songs of springtime.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend
and warm spring days soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

Blessings
Celestina Marie

What a blessing to have such nice, warm springtime temps, Celeste! Your scriptures were so appropriate for this well-loved time of year. :) I hope that spring decides to make her appearance here soon. We're supposed to be back in the 'teens this next week. Ugh.....

What a beautiful post and wonderful verses, Celestina! Your painted roses are gorgeous, love them! I hope the cold temps that you had earlier haven't been hard on all of your roses and other plants. I too am looking forward to spring and spending time tending my gardens. Have a great day! Oh, I almost forgot to mention that your dove and flower are just gorgeous!!

What an uplifting post!
We have nothing close to 80s and are grateful for 50s here. I was just looking at the hydrangea by the back door and noticed a few green leaves popping. Spring will be here before we know it.

The picture with the white flowers and the butterfly is so pretty. And your angel is just precious. She would make me happy looking at her every day. :~)

The days are getting warmer here, but it's supposed to rain again this week, so winter is not over yet in my neck of the woods.

Love,
~Sheri
