Good Fences

Welcome to another

This week I'm sharing my white 8 foot wood gate.
Yes, good fences shares gates too!!

I created the wreath using an oval grapevine wreath,
a cluster of faux Trumpet vine, burlap ribbon and a welcome sign I painted on a wood slat.

You know I love faux candles on timers
and the lantern to the left comes on each evening about 8pm
and stays on for 5 hours.

Also to share another fence
and the season of Texas Bluebonnets, here's a little painting I did recently
from Western Images.
This painting has a stone stacked fence and Bluebonnets in the yard.

And another little painting from a study in Western Images, The Hill Country
and
Bluebonnets by a little stream.

Thank you for visiting.
Have a great spring day!

Love your wooden gate, Celeste, and the painting too.
I love to see a blog party like Good Fences, gathering neighbors across miles for no other reason but connecting and inspiring one another. Takes me back five years, when I first started blogging.
So enjoyed this today.
Have a lovely day, friend.

So pretty Celeste. I keep hoping the weather will warm up. I want to assemble my wreath but with it being so cloudy and chilly I don't want to put a spring wreath up. Hopefully this weekend

Oh, I love this wreath, Celestina. The red flowers caught my eye right away. There's just something about red flowers. And the country paintings are gorgeous. You are so talented, my friend. They are both very peaceful and comforting to look at. How nice that the candle lights up at a certain time. I didn't realize they are on timers like that.

I wanted to thank you for the comment on Nel's PhD. I appreciate it so much. She still can't believe she is finished. She keeps thinking there is something left to do haha. Only her graduation in May.

Have a wonderful week.

Oh Celeste, this is such a glorious post! Your white gate is superb! I wish we could paint our brick white and I'd paint the woodwork white too; the distressed look that would occur naturally would be desirable. Your home, your art work, WOW! Love those bluebells because blue flowers are my favorite. Would you believe it is snowing at this moment?

Big hugs! Anita

Beautiful, Celeste! what a welcoming gate, I love the header (if that's what it's called) on top of it, and the welcoming lantern on the side. Your paintings are beautiful, too. Love those pretty bluebonnets. Must be amazing to see a whole field of them.
It's been rainy and windy here all week, but you know what they say about April showers . . .
