Good Fence from a Row of Roses

Hi Friends
and
Welcome to another week of Good Fences.

This pretty rose fence is one I see on my walking trail.

It's just a house away from my son's home
and across a bridge I walk over each day on my walking trail and through a park.

The neighbor put much work into creating this pretty fence and it blooms all summer long.

Love the iron hummingbird on the chimney.

A fence can be more then wood or metal!
Love this one made of red roses.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day.

Celestina Marie

Hi neighbor. :)

You are so right, a fence of roses is wonderful! It's so neat to me that your son lives close by. That would be a dream come true to me. Our older son recently started his first real job after college. He's in Branson, MO of all places! It's a wonderful place to visit but someday I hope he's closer.

Hold on for a little more rain and then it looks like that weather pattern is changing.

Lovely place to walk . . . (we had a living hedge/fence of white flowering bushes when we lived in Indiana - lots and lots of work, but wonderful when they bloomed each spring)

Reminds me so much of when I was a child and so many people's fences were rose bush rows. My mom had a row that was old wild roses from my great grandfather's farm. The scent was so sweet. Roses just don't seem to smell as good as the old ones. Thanks for such a great memory.

Love and hugs, Edie

PS Hoping you are safe and sound and weathering all the rain Texas has been getting. We're praying for all of you!

Love the rose fence, so pretty, and a delight to all who walk by. The owner must have rose bouquets in the house all summer long!

Nothing could be more besutiful than a fence of roses, dear Celestina Marie, how lovely. I would love one myself, but as my husbond am not fond of cutting roses down and such a fence would involve him, I better keep to the single ones inside the garden.
Hugs, Dorthe

This rose fence is so lovely, Celestina. I can hardly see the fence through all those gorgeous roses. I think it's great that you take a daily walk, and what a calming area this looks like. I have been wanting to do this also, but the weather is getting warmer and warmer here every day.

Your posts are so nice, Celestina, and I enjoy coming over to visit.

love, ~Sheri
