Beaching it in the Backyard!!

Here in Texas~

we're in a heat wave like most of the country.

If you're outside at all,
being in the water, is the only way to stay cool.

Come join me for a day in  my backyard beach.

We can sit here and enjoy the sunshine and part shade under the tree.

Mr Sunshine will greet us with a pleasant smile.

We can look for shells here on Stoney Beach.

Mixed with the stones and glittery blue rocks, pretty shells we can collect.

Shells of different types and shapes are waiting for us to find.

We can place our cold drink on this birdbath table I created using
a round glass top over the top filled with shells.
My hubby added a small light inside the birdbath and it has a warm glow in the evening.

We can go for a swim in the blue water.
Charlie Tuna is there to float by and give us a smile.

The bubble fountain will soon be spilling over and the sound will be refreshing.

Near by Mr. Frog sits on the red bike and watches over the fun.

As the palm tree sways, we can enjoy the day.

Thank you for stopping by my backyard beach.
I hope you are enjoying the last days of July and staying cool.

See you next week!
Celestina Marie

Oh, I'd love to be there on your beach right now!! Everything looks so lovely. Seashells and everything! Oh...a dip in the pool would be amazing, especially since I just came in from outside...finishing off the top layer on the Pup's Pen {concrete block "caps - 22 of them}! I'll bring along a pitcher of my home-made, freshly squeezed Lemonade! It's so good! I've been thinking about that all morning - I'll have to stop at the store and get some lemons and ice!! Have a wonderful week!

It's so pretty in your backyard! I'm not surprised about that though.

The fountain is so neat. I'd like to incorporate one of those. Are your flowers getting toasty hot at this point? Ours are. We've been out of town a few days and just got back. It looks dry out there.

Such a magnificent summer oasis. Love your pool too. I was thinking about you today. I have been painting my guest room here in Massachusetts and turning it into a Hydrangea retreat. I wish I lived nearby so that you could give me some inspiration. I adore the way you decorate.

Love, love, love your backyard!! Your pool area is so pretty!! It is so hot here in Ohio that you don't want to be outside for very long unless you have a pool...which we do not. Our air conditioner is running non-stop 24/7!! It's 80 degrees outside and it's 10pm. I can't wait for this hot summer to be over.
