Hibiscus Summer Giveaway

Hi Friends
I realized it has been a while since I had a giveaway
and it's about time.

You are all such dear blogging friends
and to thank you for the many visits, following and friendship,
I want to give away a few little creations from my studio and shop.

Just for you is a vintage enamelware bowl pan with my pretty Hibiscus flower
painted in the bowl area surrounded by white checks along the edge.

Perfect for a little  display or filled with a few little bathroom accents.

Love all the distress on the back and here you can see the shape a bit better for the bowl.

The edge is a dark navy blue so it can compliment with blue and white collections.

Next along with the enamelware I have a sweet little wooden French box.
I've added a neutral stripe with a French ad graphic and tied with black lace and button trim.

Here's a better look at the lid.

Wait, what's inside? oh another little treasure just for you.
Let's take a look!

Ah yes, this sweet cordon blue tart pan from France with my painting
of the French country side.
Just a tiny little accent to add on a shelf or along with a kitchen collection.

I hope to send these little thank you gifts and probably a few more surprises off to someone soon.

The drawing will be Friday August 7th, 2015
and posted Saturday August 8th.

All you have to do to participate is,
leave a comment on this post,
be a follower or a new one
and
tell me if you planted Hibiscus this season.
That's it!!
Good Luck.
The drawing will be pulled the old fashion way,
out of a cowboy hat by my guy.

Thank you for joining in.

*************

As a special note.
I think I finally found the answer to my comments not arriving to your inbox
when I visit you.
First off, google doesn't like a yahoo email address
and due to my business,
I'm not changing it.

So
for my comments to reach your inbox,
I had to change settings to a no-reply comment.

I know, you can't reply to me, but at least now you know I was there to visit.
Many still have dozens of comments on their dashboard to moderate and publish
they just don't realize they are there.

Also most of you have my email address anyway
so if you really need to send a reply
that still works fine.

Hope this helps clear up some of the glitch issues for anyone else
having the same trouble.
Better days ahead I hope after nearly 2 years struggling with this blogspot glitch.

I'll be away from my desk a few days
so thank you for stopping by and I will catch up with you
Monday to visit.

Happy August.
xo

p.s. stopping in while gone to say,
this giveaway is open to all my international friends too.

Celestina Marie, you are so sweet to offer your gorgeous artwork in a give away! My fingers are crossed. :)

Those email glitches are so confusing. There's a glitch with mine too and I have AOL. I've noticed that some people may not even be getting the messages I leave...I almost always leave a message if I visit. It's frustrating but after Googling, like you, I found that AOL is a problem all the sudden and nobody seems to know how to fix it.

Celestina Marie, what an absolutely generous and beautiful giveaway! Oh yes, I planted Lord Baltimore hibiscus in my perennial garden many years ago, and have six HUGE plants that are diagonal anchors in my garden, so full of blooms! I love their showy display, yet they are some of my most labor-intensive with staking each spring. Your detailed artwork on that tray captures their essence, and the minute detail on the tiny tart pan is simply gorgeous.
As you know, I am a loyal reader and follower, and am very appreciative of the opportunity to be part of your giveaway. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hello dear Celestina Marie, such beautiful gifts for some lucky ones, you are so kind and generous.
The enamal ware beauty with your hibiscus flower is so adorable, and the wonderful elegant and charming box with the dearest painted cookie form oh how beautiful.
Here in cold Denmark, we can`t have Hibiscus plants outside, only as flowers in pots inside our homes, so there are no beautiful Hibiscus planted this year in my garden .
Thank you for the opertunity dear friend, so very kind of you, Celestina Maria.

I never plant hibiscus because our soil is so bad...rocky. This is the first year i have managed to keep a rose bush alive and I am elated! As usual, i love your designs and would be very happy to win your giveaway! ginny

I have never planted hibiscus....I am a terrible gardener! I do much better with perennials...and wildflowers. They all seem to pop up on their own and take care of themselves. They're probably better off that way! Such pretty treasures for a giveaway.

oh, i know someone is going to be thrilled to display your treasures in their home! very nice gifts you've made!

I wish I could paint like that! I did do birdhouses years ago (like 25) for the boy scouts troop to sell as a fundraiser. They made the birdhouses and I painted them to look like cottages! Sold like hotcakes. I have not tried doing scenes like in the tart cup. May try though.

Dear Celestina,
What lovely little treasures in your giveaway! You are going to make someone's day for sure!!! I do not plant hibiscus. There is not a green thumb between us in this house!!! We finally gave up and now use a combination of perennials mixed with a few annuals. Have a lovely weekend Celeste!

I didn't plant hibiscus this year, but we have a gorgeous red hibiscus that we are actually having trimmed into a tree because it is taking over the garden. I love it when it is in full bloom.

I love the dish you painted - that is never a skill I perfected.

What a generous and lovely giveaway Celeste! Your artistry is beautiful. I'm not much of a gardener, although I adore flowers. So, no, I haven't planted a hibiscus.
I always find your comments in my "waiting moderation" section; because you told me, I've learned to look. Oftentimes, I find others in there, too.
Blogger often reverts me to a no-reply blogger without my knowledge, and usually some nice friend lets me know so I can fix it! All these little glitches!
Have a wonderful weekend. xo

What a great giveaway! You are kind.

No, I don't have hibiscus planted - not sure they could live in my hot, dry climate! Have peonies, irises, and geraniums.

Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous Celestina!
The beauty of your hands graced all over those treasures will bring much joy to the blessed winner. You are very thoughtful with your give away Celestina, bless your heart.

Hibiscus does not do well here in Colorado, but oh they are such a beautiful flower. They were one of my favorite flowers in Hawaii when my husband and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary there quite some years ago.
Petunias are what do well here in the mountains, and the humming birds love them, so that is one of the many flowers I plant in my window boxes.

Enjoy your time away and sweet blessings to you for your thoughtfulness.

Much love~ Debbie

Good Morning Celistina, It is lovely to meet you. I discovered your blog whilst visiting Linda from Sew What.
The enamel bowl is beautiful and I use enamel bowls to make Shepherds Pie and Steak Pies. These were so popular when I was a young girl as my Grandmother Ivy used them aswell. I think that is why I enjoy using them as it brings back fond memories.
It is perfect that you have painted an Hibiscus flower, because when I lived on the Island of Cyprus, Hibiscus grew in abundance. I had so many different coloured bushes in my garden, but the most popular was the red Hibiscus and with the blue Mediterranean sky and sunshine as a backdrop, they always looked beautiful.
I realise that I cannot enter your giveaway because I live in England, but I wanted to leave a comment as both the enamel bowl and the Hibiscus plant brought back some lovely memories.
I have enjoyed my visit and I have become a new follower.
Best Wishes to you.

Your hibiscus bowl caught my eye on my sidebar and I decided to come for a visit. I had no idea you were having a giveaway but it is a lovely one. And no I haven't planted hibiscus. I didn't plant any flowers this year as we're going to be downsizing in the near future. You really do possess a lovely talent, my friend. Have a beautiful day and thank you for sharing your pretty things.
