Good Fences

Hi Friends,
Welcome back to Good Fences this last week of August.
So ready for Autumn here
and
I am really looking forward to cooler temps and fall days.

How about you?
Are you ready for a change of season?

Recently,
on a good fence hunt,
we traveled by the Dr. Pepper Ball Park.

Designed with a Victorian style flavor,
the fences and gate entries around the park
are unique and detailed in a Victorian old fashion style.

Interesting post details and fencing all in a dark green finish.

Simply charming!

Thank you for stopping by today.

Wishing you a wonderful last weekend in August.

Be Blessed.

Good morning, the Dr Pepper Ball Park looks very fancy. Great fence and gate shots. We did not have a hot summer here, I am not ready for it to leave so soon. Have a happy day!

Good morning, dear friend. I finally made my way, catching up on all your lovely posts and taking in your genuine heart.
Summer's wonderful, but autumn is my favorite of all the seasons, so I'm always ready to welcome it back. Cannot wait to see all your seasonal creations.
Love and blessings.

The weather is already beginning to change here, I'd like it to slow down... just a little.

Interesting fences, very attractive!

Yes, time is flying, there ARE ALREADY RED LEAVES ON SOME OF THE TREES HERE! (Sorry!) The metal fence is lovely, but I always prefer the rustic ones. Hugs, Valerie By the way, what is a ball park?

That is a nice fence and gate. I had to look up what the Dr. Pepper Ballpark was- It looks like a very nice stadium. With the high temps you experience down there I don't blame you for wishing autumn was here. We cooled off up here (maybe too much) but it's supposed to return to around 80 in a couple days. I hate to admit it but I can sense fall coming. I love the autumn season (just don't like what follows)!

I was going to ask if that's the place in Frisco. It's so cute and quaint. Frisco has everything!!

Hi Celestina,

What a very pretty park with lovely attention to detail everywhere! I wish summer could last a bit longer as we seem to have had a damp squib of a summer this year and I'd love a few more sunny days to enjoy with my kids!
Enjoy your day!

Pretty fence! I do like the cooler weather, but I'm definitely not looking forward to winter. I can't stand the snow, being bundled up, higher natural gas bills and the mess! YUCK! Have a wonderful day Celestina!

Hi Celestina the park looks nice as does the pretty fence.
Enjoy the rest of the week.

Hi Celeste,
Dr. Pepper ballpark looks like a fun place. Very architectural cool fence. Ahhhhh Autumn, my favorite season, pumpkins, russet leaves, cool evenings, wearing pretty sweaters ... I could go on but still with temps in the 90's Autumn is a distant promise of nature's beauty.

Vera

Oooh, that is quite beautiful! I have come to enjoy your posts of these beautiful fences, Celestina.

The cooler weather has certainly hit our area, but just enough to cause the beautiful flower boxes to flourish. Oooh I just love it when they are at their best! Unfortunately when this happens it is short lived. We reach the peak and then before we know it we are busy raking leaves and pulling out those lovely flower boxes. :(
So...I try and spend my days drinking in the remainder of our summer days knowing the end is near.

Have a most beautiful day, sweet friend.
Love~ Debbie

That is a great fence, and I am glad that it is the last week in August!! It has been oppressively hot here this summer. Enjoyed my visit!

Hi Celeste! Oh, I like the iron fence. When we lived in Waco we had a front courtyard and it had an iron gate and I loved the creek it made. Did you know that Dr. Pepper originated in Waco? My drink of choice, of coarse! ;)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

I am a huge fan of gates and fences; those are beautiful! since Dave's death, my gates are locked every night. I'm not afraid, I'm just helping cretins make an easier decision to go somewhere else to do their wicked deeds. -lol-

What a lovely gate and fence! The weather has been cooler here and some of our trees are beginning to turn! I love Fall and am past ready for Summer to be over. The humidity has been bad this year. Time is definitely flying by! Have a blessed weekend!

Love those pictures - I do love a ball park... The one in my hometown, back when I was little, had a high white fence, made of plywood. You couldn't see into the park from outside, but you could hear the goings-on... I loved the anticipation I felt while standing in line to get in, holding my mom's hand... special memories indeed.

I am very ready for fall - cool days, oven dinners, sweaters - love, love, love Fall!

I will be so glad when FALL arrives.

Wrought Iron Fencing is always a favorite for me. And then, ballparks...good ol' fashioned fun.

Excellent captures and I love how you add the special 'misted' effect to your images.

I love your choice of fences and there is nothing better the original Dublin Dr. Pepper made with pure cane sugar. I will always love a Ball park and a cold Dr. Pepper!
