Looking For Spring~

Happy March!!

At this point, I think we are all ready for
springtime and fresh new flowers
We have warmed up nicely and even enjoyed a day reaching 80 degrees.
My rose garden is still a ways from sharing pretty blooms
but I know they are coming soon.
In the meantime,
I have brought a little spring inside
while we wait.

It is better to be patient then
powerful; it is better to have self-control
then to conquer a city.
Proverbs 16:32

Roses, although silk, are a hope for spring.

There is beauty in the color pink.

We can make our plans, but the Lord
determines our steps.
Proverbs 16:9

Let your life shine through.
Glitter your thoughts with love!!!

There is a time for everything,
a season for every activity
under heaven.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
Ecclesiastes 3:1,4

Like the Dove takes to a rose,
our hearts fill with joy in a beautiful day.

Teach us to make the most of our time,
so that we may grow in wisdom.
Psalm 90:12

Don't forget the music in your life,
the combination of notes that make the harmony!

Home is where the heart dwells
and makes a nest for comfort.

The birds in my garden are the composers
for the melody in a new beginning.

Wishing you a wonderful start to a new week.

What a lovely post in photos, thoughts and scripture. It is chilly in in s.e. FL, but feels good as summer's heat and humidity will be here all too fast. The first day of spring will be my 67th birthday. :-)

Have a wonderful weekend ~ FlowerLady

A Very Happy Birthday Dear. Your Spring decor is lovely and reminds us of the promise of fresh new beginnings with Nature and her sprouts and shoots of green and tiny little buds. My yellow assorted daffodils are blooming and bring a fresh bit of Spring promise...however I do remember that every year they get pounded into the mud by rain and/or snow. So far our weather is glorious and El Niño has been less than expected in the gift of rain for our drought-ridden state. Enjoy and Celebrate YOU and Your Special Day My Friend...

Celeste,
You offered wisdom and beauty in this post, I've gone back and reread your words 3 times nodding my head. Pink is a delight and it makes you feel happy I think. My all time favorite piece of clothing was a fuzzy angora extremely soft Pink sweater, the angora had about 40 percent rabbit fur. Anyhow one dinner party I had while I was serving our guests my arm crossed past the candle flame - Yup I caught fire , suddenly John was smacking my arm and using a linen napkin to put out the flames... I was fine, the sweater on the other hand a total loss.
Sending you Birthday wishes and kisses!
xoxo,
Vera

How nice that you have warm weather! Your pink flowers are so pretty,.... I look forward to seeing our first signs of spring. Love your quotes (including your very own) and proverbs....happy spring! Blessings to you!
