In Honor and Remembrance this Veterans Day!

Today is Veterans Day~
and in honor of the
many who have
sacrificed for our freedoms,
I have picked my last roses of the season.
They stand strong and  proud
like the soldiers
that marched into battles
with courage.
Ready to give
nothing but the best.

Detailed and perfect
is their commitments.

Today's young military soldiers
continuing to keep us free.

To the many, like my father who
gave so much.
We give our thanks,
our prayers,
our gratitude
for
your bravery.

God Bless You Greatly
this Veterans Day
and beyond!

So beautifully said Celeste. The men and women that gave so much to keep us safe are hero's without capes. Praying for all that sacrificed their lives for us and the ones still serving.
Hugs,
Kris

Hello dearest Celeste! At the high school today, they gave the most beautiful assembly. The band played all the anthems for each branch of the military and there were speeches, and student led. It was awesome!

I keep hearing about the difficult time our soldiers are having in reconnecting with society after returning from their tours of duty. They SO need to hear from all of us that what they do is not in vain. That we love them and appreciate all they do. Thank you for taking the time to post this. : )
