Welcome October

Hi Friends!
Welcome to October
but where did September go?
It came and went so fast, all while we were waiting for  cooler temps.
We are still waiting for a real fall but the air is changing
and I think we are heading in the right direction soon.

In the meantime,
I enjoyed decorating Rose Garden Cottage in seasonal accents.
It may still be like summer outside, but autumn has brought cozy inside.

Pumpkin designs and pillows bring in some fall charm.

Gathering near the hearth in hopes of fall evenings by the fire.

Love you yesterday, Love you still, Always have, Always will~~

Rust, blue willow, pumpkins and acorns grace a vintage hutch,

Table settings ready for comfort food and fall dinners.

And, the pumpkin truck arrived~

Gotta love plaid for autumn!

1-2-3- it's pumpkins I see.
This is an easy project.
Chalk paint jars or bottles.
Stencil with numbers,
add jute around the tops,
leave as is, or place in a wire basket.
Little aqua pumpkins sit in front and you've got a quick farmhouse fall accent!

It's always time for tea.

Because I love the number 3

Grateful, Thankful, Blessed  is a sweet reminder on the mantel.

My White Pitcher collection has grown and also gets a few pumpkin accents.

All because,
"There's No Place Like Home"

Have a great month of October and Happy Fall.
Blessings always!

And as a reminder,
Everything is on sale in my etsy shop.

See you next time!

A Little Color With White

In my last post,
I shared a bit of white for Autumn.

Today I will share the colorful side of my Fall.

Starting at the front door,
I love to change my door urn with the seasons.

Most of you have seen this before as I have shared different designs
as the holidays change.

For Autumn I add Fall flowers and a Trick or Treat Greeting.

Inside, I like to decorate the door from that side too.

Chalk Board paint
painted on a ceramic pot and filled with flowers.

A gourd filled with Autumn flowers.

The teapot always near and ready.

Beaded coasters fill a leaf dish.

***************
And one more thing.

Do you have a vintage silver tray?
The kind with the movable handle?

Well, it can be turned into a framed easel
by just turning the handle to make the tray stand up.

The picture in the center is not permanent
so it can be changed as needed.
Just roll some tape and stick in place.

Don't you love a good Fall??

See you next time.

Smiles,

Celestina Marie
