EARRING GIVEAWAY WIN & WHAT'S NEW!

Greetings friends. Can you believe it is Friday? Where does the week go? Well, time flies when you're having fun, right? And, I am having a such a wonderful time in the studio these days. But today, taking a walk to the mailbox brought happy excited as I won the earring giveaway at Kat's, Shiny Moonbeams. She designs gorgeous earrings, and I am thrilled to have won 2 gorgeous pairs. Here is a couple pics of my win!!

When you get a moment, visit Kat and also her etsy shopped linked from her blog. Thank you so much Kat, I love these and will enjoy wearing them.

So what's going on in the studio? and what is new?
Well, my Victorian Christmas candles are beginning to fill the shelves in my shoppe and here are a few on their way. Hand created on a flickering faux candle made of real wax and accented with a Victorian graphic, hand painted roses or pine branches and berries. Glittered and embellished with trims and silk roses.

Also, I have hand cut from wood and hand painted an assortment of glittered ornaments from snowmen to Santa's and lots more styles and designs being created.

Lastly, among the finished treasures this week is my favorite in pink. "Pretty Pink Pumpkin Cottage." I like to imagine the family just set out their pumpkins in the front yard. With blue skies and the leaves turning colors, just beyond the picket fence is the country side ready for Autumn. Trailing all around the scene is a frame of rose buds and leaves. The backside is a trio of pink roses and all is topped with Autumn Roses and sheer ribbon.

Don't forget my Visitor Thank You Giveaway. Leave a comment and you will be entered in the drawing. Visit HERE to read about the gift.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and wherever you are, I hope you enjoy cooler Autumn days and make lots of treasured memories with family and friends.
See you again soon. Blessings and Autumn Skies be yours.
Celestina Marie
p.s. THANK YOU for the kind words left in comments and emails received about my last vintage alphabet post. As kindred spirits, it is very special to know the many who cherish treasures from days gone by. Big Hugs!!

What a very delightful Blog you have. It is always so uplifting to look at it and all of your beautiful work. I do not paint much any more but did for many years. Thirty years ago I was paianting orange pumpkins with beautiful Fall leaves and selling them very well. I will soon be 80 and still dabble in creating. I am having a Gift Show in November and looking forward to seeing lots of my old customers. I had a Country Gift Sshop for years, but closed it several years ago to care for an ill hubby. He passed away 5 years ago, so I am back creating and loving it. I am a "jack of all trades". Have happy selling season and best of luck to you.
Hugs.....Pauline

Celeste, everything is just as pretty as always. You make some of the cutest things, especially the snowman ornaments. I love snowmen but have never made a real one since it doesn't snow in Florida very often.

Congrats on your win - the earrings are lovely.

Hi Celestina Marie,
What beautiful earrings, how nice that you were the winner of the giveaway.

I love the name Pretty Pink Pumpkin Cottage and think of the family setting their pumpkins out as well. Something we hope to do here soon too. Now if only the weather would cooperate and cool down a bit.

Hope you're having a nice relaxing autumn day there!

Thank you for visiting the other day and for your sweet comments about my handmade cards. You always leave such lovely comments. Thank you for always being such a voice of encouragement. In a world where unkind, critical words run rampant, it's always nice to hear positive "well done" words.

Anyhow, all your creations are totally lovely. You are one amazingly talented lady.

Have a lovely day.

Love,
Patti

Celeste, the earrings are both lovely. I'm liking your sweet pink Christmas ornaments too. Are you having to vacuum the studio of glitter? ;-)
Hope you are having a fun painting week.

Hi Celeste, I love your post and all the pretty things you have made. I also love your previous post with the rosery beads, I have quite a few of them also but they did not belong to family members, I do pick them up from estate sales and flea markets. I also got a kick out of the shorthand book, I remember that from school, it's been so long since I've seen that. Thanks for the memory!
Blessings sweet friend, Shirl
