Witches Brew Dress Form Hat

Happy Monday Blog Friends, Today I join Etsy Cottage Style and The Graphics Fairy to share a quick chic little Halloween project.
Starting with a paper mache witches hat found at your local craft shop, I painted it black inside and out with acrylic craft paint.
Next I add a Halloween graphic from The Graphics Fairy to the center using modpodge.
To the brim I hot glued a feather and silver thread boa all around.
Next, I added black tulle wrapped around with just a dot of hot glue front and back to hold in place and tie off to one side into a bow with long tail trailing down. To the center of the bow, I added a vintage pattern paper rose with glitter and glued in place. To see the how to create the vintage pattern roses you can visit HERE from a previous post.
Lastly I topped the hat on my dining room dress form and she is ready to greet the trick or treaters when they arrive.
Easy, chic and simple. Happy Creating! See you next time. Celestina Marie p.s. don't forget to enter my 5 year blog birthday giveaway, still going on with the drawing on the 2nd of Nov. The post to enter is below~~~

You did a beautiful job decorating your home for the holiday!

Your dress form is bound to get many compliments from your Halloween visitors! We won't have any due to the remoteness of our cabin.

I have lots of patterns so I am off to see your pattern roses!

Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment!

Smiles, Cyndi

You make it look so easy, and it looks absolutely gorgeous! If you don't have a dressform it would look perfect as a table centerpiece too!

Cute idea, we don't generally do Halloween in our household, but I LOVE, LOVE the vintage rose idea and know I can use this. I also really like the idea of the pile of old patterns that I have that were bound for the recycling bin now have new life potential : )
