Night Stand Makeover

Happy October Everyone~

Do you remember this great little nightstand I found junkin a few weeks ago?
Well, it is finally finished and turned out to be a happy little makeover.

To begin LJ added bottom feet to raise the stand a bit higher for the guest bed.

Once the makeover was complete,
I painted it with chalk paint by Deco Americana in the color Lace
and added a light blue grey stencil to the drawer.

The drawer pull is a pretty soft blue grey ceramic knob
I found for half price at Hobby Lobby.

The stencil color and knob shade pick  up the soft color in the quilt.

The headboard was a Good Will find a few years ago.
It was originally brass and white.
With a little makeover in rubbed oil bronze, it gave an anchor to the room.

The lamp and clock add to the headboards color.

Across the room I have a little writing desk
which was a makeover several years ago.

To the little stool, I repeated the pattern from the night stand drawer.

Love how the night stand works with this room
to make a happy little makeover.

AFTER

Now what's next on my list!!

See you next time.

Wishing you the perfect start to October.

What a fantastic nightstand makeover! I really like that headboard too. Every detail really comes together. Even the doily under the clock adds to the overall charm of the room. Just lovely.

Celeste- That is a GREAT makeover. You would never know it was the same piece. I like the added legs, too.

The one piece in your room I covet is that sweet little drop front desk. If I ever come to visit I don't suppose I could sneak that out in my suitcase? lol xo Diana
