In Honor of Veterans Day

Remembering Veterans Day~
and in honor of the
many who have
sacrificed for our freedoms,
I have picked my last long stem red
Lincoln roses of the season.
They stand strong and  proud
like the soldiers
that marched into battles
with courage.
Ready to give
nothing but the best.

Detailed and perfect
is their commitments.

Today's young military soldiers
continuing to keep us free.

To the many, like my father who
gave so much in his service to this country.
To the many today that keep us free,
we give our thanks,
our prayers,
our gratitude
for
your bravery.

God Bless You Greatly
this Veterans Day 2014
and beyond!

Hugs,
Celestina Marie

Celestina, Your Father was a veteran of WWII and he helped to keep us all safe! We pray that his efforts do not go in vain! God Bless America!

Celeste I agree. In our home is a military honor folded flag for John's Dad and for mine who served with pride and commitment. But personally I feel much more needs to be accomplished and given to our brave men who served in the wars since 911 and they seem to be forgotten and dismissed. Your roses are beautiful just like your heart.

Vera

So beautifully said Celeste! I noticed in the first photo there are some blemishes on the rose petals. It reminds me of the physical & emotional scars our service men & women came home with from the conflicts they faced. It changed them forever. God has blessed all of us with their service and sacrifices. Thank you for this lovely tribute to all of them!!

Many many blessings, Edie

What a lovely tribute, Celeste. We truly owe our military men and women a debt of gratitude. So nice you still have a few beautiful roses left. Our temps are dropping almost 30 degrees today (64 to 37 degrees within 12 hours!), and we are expecting snow this week!
Blessings to you, Deborah xo
