Happy May Day

To welcome the month of May,
I've picked a couple of bouquets from my garden.

Red and Pink Knock Out Roses for the table.

Red Mr. Lincoln Roses with Yellow Daisies for the bar.

They look like velvet.

Happy May Day!

I hope this month is perfect for you and filled with blessings.

Thank you for stopping by and your comments.

Celeste,
Happy May Day to you. Your roses are stunning and the scattering about your house looks inviting and so pretty. It would be so enjoyable to relax and look at their beauty. It would do my soul well.

Celeste you were sweet enough to ask how the remodeling was coming along. So here goes...
Was hoping all the plastering and joint compounding and sanding would be completed for today in our laundry room and garage ... But nope, it is not!!! Was
hoping to prime the walls with John and machine clean the concrete floors, wax and buff them with this wonder product we purchased then paint the stairs, back door, ceiling and walls with no VOC paint. Then I could move in all my goodies to decorate ... But not yet! I know patience, it will be amazing, especially since I never really ever had a true laundry room.

Kitchen is waiting on the 110 year old barn beams and when they finally get installed I will bore everyone with a billion photos on my blog!

Lately the house sounds like a cash register and Cha-Ching echoes throughout the walls! Thankfully we budgeted extra just in case. I'm working on my blog post poem. Poetry about the American Dream of owning a home. I'm pouring my heart into it as our house fills with construction dust and my excitement level of pretty updates fill my head with poetic words.

I think after scrolling your gorgeous rose photos again I'm heading out to treat myself to light Pink roses.
Sending love my friend,
Vera

Celestina, your red roses are beautiful, and the perfect color. I just weeded my rose bushes this morning, and all of them are doing nicely except the pink ones; they seem to be growing slow (maybe the wrong location).

I never tire of seeing your beautiful roses, and I'm so glad I found someone who appreciates them like I do.

Happy first day of May, Celestina.

love, ~Sheri

Happy May Day to you Celeste. Your arrangements are beautiful. I am saving every drop of water that I can for my roses. I also picked two bouquets today for the house. They smelled so good, just like Mr. Lincoln.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Mary

Very pretty! I'm glad I got a pic of my one pink rose. The very next day it looked awful. I thought they'd last longer than that.
