Welcome to Our Home

Another week has come and gone
and
welcome back to view a bit of Texas
with
the gate I found for today.

In my travels I discovered this wide open ranch
with a gorgeous split rail fence and stone pillars at the entrance.

Looking a bit closer, off to the side,
I see this metal sign topping the gate.

"Welcome to our home"

Horses and wagon wheels make it perfect.

Love a gate with a sign
and
been finding many of those recently.

More to share in the future.

Have a wonderful March.

Hello Celestina!:) This is the first time I have seen stone pillars in a Texas gateway, and they look very stylish. I also love the neat fencing, and welcoming sign.:)

Hi Celestina,
I do believe you should write a book about all of the neat fences you've spotted in Texas! That metal horse cut out is so neat. I would love to live on that much property, too!

A beautiful welcoming gate , and so sweet.
It looks wonderful there, Celeste, such huge area belonging to the ranch !!!
Would this ranch have animals or do they grow the earth -much to wonder about, when living so very far away :-)

What a gorgeous fence and gate! I figure when I win the lottery, I will take down the barbed wire around our acreage and have a stone wall built....or maybe something similar to this. Guess I should go buy a ticket!!

Celestina Marie, you are amazing! How do you find so many different varieties of gates and fences? Must be just in Texas.

Now I live in the country, I have noticed the fences and gates are more functional than in the city. Of course, since the properties are much larger, It's also more needed!

What a great gate and sign! Texas is the place to find wonderful gates and fences! Our city only allows four foot gates which are not nearly as regal. I love this series. I must admit I have a bit of gate and fence envy!
