That's A Wrap~ for the lap!

After weeks of crocheting, my latest lacy ruffled lap throw is completed and my third throw finished in a years time. The others have found a new home to live and this one is on it's way to the shelves in my etsy boutique shortly.
Next I will be starting a white lace throw and I am excited about that one and searching for the perfect yarn to begin.

In the meantime, lots of painting is going on in the studio and in the off hours I created some new home pillows for the new look in my home. Using graphics with words and black and white designs, I have embellished plain pillows for a new style.

This year seems to be a new time to reorganize, change some styles, new looks, clean out, purge and well you get the idea for changes. I hear from many of you, the same agenda is yours. It just gives a feeling of renewal and change can be good. Even my boutique has changes on the way. Lots of new spring styles coming soon.

Today I am half way through my re~dos and a few more changes on the way. It sure feels refreshing, like changing around a room does for us. Are you making home style changes this year? Perhaps painting furniture and walls? Whatever your updates, have fun and enjoy the process. Hope to visit you and see your new dos too.
Thank you for stopping by. Have a wonderful February day~~ I'll leave you with some pics of my Valentine flowers.

Beach Cottage Inspired! ~By the Sea Dreams~

By the sea, by the sea! Oh I so enjoyed to design and paint these beautiful large oyster shells the other day. I love beach cottage decor and when mixed with pink roses, it's all dreamy.

While treasure shopping last month, I came across these wonderful Oyster shells that I shared in my trip post yesterday. Measuring 4" wide by 6" long. I decided to paint 2 with seaside scenes and roses on the backside, and one, with roses inside and rose bud on the front. These are in my shoppe now with Free Shipping.

Oh how I wish to drift away in this sail boat and return to this rose cottage by the sea. Where roses are planted and the water so blue. Where days are lazy and the nights full of stars that twinkle off the water.

I will dream as I create, with pink roses that grow outside my window.

Also the wonderful Cindy Adkins has an on line magazine and she so kindly featured me last Saturday. Please stop by and view her great blog magazine and visit me and other artists she has featured by clicking on her name.

It's always special to have you visit.
Have a wonderful Summer's day full of Seaside Dreams!
XO Celestina Marie

Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Roses

Today is another fun shopping day with Make Mine Pink and shopping with a twist. "Pumpkin Spice and Autumn Roses" is the theme today.

While I was preparing for this post, I took an Autumn walk around my garden to view the roses I still have in full bloom and so lovely. Grabbed my camera and had some fun taking a few pics and then putting my artistic touch to them.

With Thanksgiving upon us and the days turning cooler here in Texas, I am thankful for the blooms I can still enjoy. My roses today seemed to talk to me as I spent time among these gorgeous blooms. Some roses looked as though they were bowing their heads in prayer. Such peace and calm awaits in the garden. I hope you enjoy these few garden delights.

Even the pansy power had something to say!

My favorite today are the roses that were bowing their heads in prayer.

Thank you for stopping by and joining in my walk in the garden to celebrate pumpkin spice and Autumn roses.
I hope you have a wonderful Autumn day filled with promise and thanksgiving for the beauty around you. Till next time, you can find me swinging paint brushes and sprinkling fairy dust!
Blessings to you,
Celestina Marie

Knock Out, One Year!

It is hard to believe that one year has already passed since my dear best guy planted my pink Knock Out Roses in front of my studio. My how they have grown and filled in the area so nicely. Do you remember I wrote a little poem when he planted them for me? It went something like this~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Love's Roses
Outside my art shoppe window~
sweet roses I do see.
Planted by my dear love one~
especially for me.

He chose the spot directly~
by love for sun's delight.
With blessings only they can offer~
through petals pink and bright.

When inspiration I am seeking~
I only have to see~
Outside my art shoppe window~
Sweet roses bloom for me.

Here are the new pics of my gorgeous roses. I can view these everyday while working in the studio, which are the windows you see here.

I also picked my first bouquet of roses from my garden yesterday. They are gorgeous bright colors. I had some fun with my photoscape and created a painting from the pic.

It has been a very busy time in the studio this season and I am loving every minute of it. Here is a few pics of the new treasures nearly ready for my shoppe. Ending with a little mosaic of pics which includes a little pic of a dress shop I found over the weekend in Boerne, Texas with my name for the shoppe. I also saw a pink Corvette and my best guy snapped a pic for me while in the shop.

I hope you have a great weekend and enjoying the warmer weather. See you again soon with details for my Spring Giveaway!
Smiles, Celestina Marie
