Revisiting Good Fences~

Hi Friends
and
Welcome to
another week sharing

I will be away from my desk enjoying
a beautiful wedding for a few days
so I thought I would re-share
a few fences and gates from the last couple of seasons.

Remembering the charming white picket fence in the Hill Country.

The long fence line along the open roads.

The stick fence from RoundTop!

Visiting a Longhorn very carefully~~~

How could I forget the sweet donkey friends along the way.

And always the wonderful gates found in Texas.

But best of all,
is the gorgeous Blue Skies on a clear Texas afternoon.

See you tomorrow with a few pics for the weekend
while I attend a wedding.

Thank you for stopping by.

You certainly found a variety of good fences, Celeste! The white picket fence is a favorite of mine. The stick fence is so interesting. I'm not sure I have ever seen one of this type. The Long Horn is a beautiful animal, but I'm with you it's better off to observe him "carefully"! Enjoy your time away! Blessing, dear friend!

Love the photos of these fences. Especially love the stick fence, they remind me of my visits to Williamsburg. Have a great weekend and enjoy the wedding.

Texas does have some beautiful stately gates, for sure! That stick fence looks too labor-intense...HA HA , but then I'm pretty lazy, so I would probably spread those sticks out a bit!

Wonderful fences ad what a magnificent longhorn, although I wouldn't want to get too close! Enjoy the wedding festivities, hugs, Valerie

Celeste I enjoyed your encore presentation of good fences today. That Longhorn has such an expression on his face doesn't he? Enjoy the wedding and your time away celebrating it.
Sending love,

Hello, Hope you have a lovely weekend away, I did enjoy the fence photos and I did remember a couple of them. I do wish I had gotten myself together and joined in the tea cup party... Maybe next time.
The wind is blowing and bringing in a cold front, doing some reading and working on some ribbon embroidering. I wish you a special season of blessings!
Hugs, Roxy

We had an unexpected journey this weekend and we saw a ton of fences...all shapes and sizes. Each one had a unique beauty of its own and made me think of your pretty fence posts!

Enjoy the days off and be safe. Loved this trip down memory lane...and love a good fence. Strong fences make good neighbors and give me a feeling of security. I know they don't keep out the riff raff but they surely make it easier for someone to go down the road to a neighbor with no fence.

I never knew I loved so many types of fences. Long ago the picket fence, recently the wrought iron. Now the rustic. i think though, that i depends on your property, so I love them all!

Happy fall to you!
