Good Fences

Welcome

The weeks are flying by aren't they?
In a few days, we will see November.

The rains stopped for a few days
giving us just a bit of time to catch up around the house with yard work.

The rain has been wonderful
but sad for those with the challenge of high waters and flooding.

Even our many Texas fences can't help keep the waters from overflowing.

On a recent treasure hunt,
I came across a beautiful roadway fence
on our way to a favorite junkin spot.

Beautiful iron with details and Texas stars.

The lamps make it look so vintage.
I suppose the town hangs seasonal flags from the lamp post arms.
I'm sure I'll be back to see during the holidays!

It's amazing the fences I notice now for Good Fences!

As many times as I've traveled here.
The road fence just blended into the scenery.

This gazebo is a special spot at our destination across from the shops.
It too had a beautiful fence rail all around the platform.

Southern DayDreams was playing on the Plaza billboard.
I guess they knew I was coming to shop!!

Happy Good Fences!!

See you next time.

Happy Halloween!

That is a pretty fence. Even though I haven't been taking pictures I'm suddenly more aware of fences too since I joined the party a couple of times. I like the pic with you in the gazebo and your name on the bilboard!

I had to laugh cause since I have been following your blog and a couple others that do fence postings I have noticed a lot more too. I love old fashion lamp posts, I always have to take pictures of them :) Love how you added the southern day dreams to the plaza sign, great pic of you too.

I never noticed fences before you started this post. Now I am looking at everyone's fences LOL.
I used to have a white picket fence around my front yard, but it got old and I had it taken out. I sure miss it.
Happy Halloween.

Our Texas Gazebos are gorgeous aren't they? Seems as though nearly every Town Center has one and I just love how the municipalities dress them all up for the different Holidays.
You are such a lovely and beautiful Lady, your goodness shines brightly, and your smile is so genuine and warm!

You got top billing at the Plaza.
Well that fence reminds me
of the Waterville Bridge in Maine.
They call Suicide Bridge. Really
it keeps them from jumping in the river.
For real.
